Downtown Detroit Small

IIRC That’s close to where the old Tiger’s Stadium is, right?

Yeah, downtown is a little small. But Boston, San Francisco and Manhattan can fit into Detroit with room to spare.

Manhattan can fit within a Micra with room to spare.

Jeez, and I thought Ottawa was a small town.

Not quite, different roads out of downtown.

You should see the Twin Cities. As a metropolitan area it’s pretty large but downtown Minneapolis is pretty small. Of course I’m used to the vastness that is NYC. Not that I’m there often.

Ah, yeah, it’s been almost 10 years since I’ve been to Detroit so I couldn’t remember exactly.

All of Manhattan live in a Micra anyway so not surprising.

As someone who has no idea the details behind any of this, is there a reason the Red Wings don’t want to move to the Palace at Auburn Hills, where the Pistons play?

Biggest reason is the Palace is pretty far away from Detroit. Almost 45 mins actually. Also, the owner of the team wants to own the stadium too and he couldnt do that with the Palace.

Look across the river. Windsor is small, too. Most city downtown/centre are a lot smaller than you think they are.

Very true.

Gotcha, valid reasons. Thank you for the explanation.
